2 Peas in a Pod is a private app designed for two people. Your privacy is fundamental to the app's purpose. We collect the absolute minimum data needed to make the app work, and we never sell, share, or use your data for advertising.What we collect
Your first name — the name you enter when creating or joining a couple. This is visible only to your paired person.
Your couple code — a randomly generated 6-character code used to pair two people. This is not linked to any account or identity.
App content you create — feelings you select, letters you write, signals you send, stars you place, and your ready-to-talk status. This data is stored solely to enable the app's features between you and your paired person.
What we do not collect
Email addresses
Phone numbers
Passwords
Location data
Device identifiers or advertising IDs
Usage analytics or tracking data
Photos, contacts, or any data from your device
How your data is stored
Your data is stored on Supabase, a secure cloud database hosted in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany). Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Each couple's data is isolated and accessible only through the unique couple code.Who can see your data
Your paired person can see shared content: feelings (after mutual reveal), signals, letters (after mutual reveal on a full moon), stars in the shared sky, and ready-to-talk status.
Private content such as your mood selections are visible only to you.
No one else — we do not share data with third parties, advertisers, or analytics services.
Data retention
Your data remains stored as long as the app is in use. If you would like your data deleted, contact us at the email below and we will remove all data associated with your couple code.Children's privacy
2 Peas in a Pod is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it.Changes to this policy
